Our Mission

At Grom & Company Avalanche and Risk Consulting our goal is to provide clients with effective solutions to avalanche threats that they may face in outdoor recreation or industry in mountain environments.

Dave Richards, "Grom", has been working in the avalanche and risk mitigation business for 23 years.  He has worked in Helicopter Skiing, Highway Mitigation, Legal Risk Management and as the Director of a large ski resort avalanche program.

We believe in a collaborative approach to avalanche consulting, where we work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions together. Our goal is to build long-lasting relationships with our clients that serve the interests of the protection of life and property.
